This was an easy swap! If you’re already buying dishwasher pods at the store, then you’ll find it’s a seamless transition to refill pods.

How To Swap

Step 1: Find a local refill store
if you don’t have a local store then check out
Bluland

Step 2: Save one of your pod storage containers or use a glass jar

Step 3: Buy refill pods from the refill store or online

Step 4: Use the pods just like you’d use your packaged pods

Why Make This Swap?

The dishwasher pods I buy at Great Lakes Refill work just like dishwasher pods that you can buy packaged at the store. Buying refill pods saves from constantly “recycling” the big plastic cartons they come in. Refill pods are wrapped in a biodegradable film that dissolves when the dishwasher starts. If your local refill store doesn’t carry refill pods then you can ask if they’ll consider bringing them in. Great Lakes Refill keeps a list of requested products and is open to trying new things.

Do you use a dishwasher and do you think you’ll make this easy swap? Why or why not? Let me know via contact page.
