Wrapping Options

I have transitioned a lot of my gift wrapping to reusable cloth bags, re-used gift bags/paper from gifts we receive, and occasionally unwrapped in a basket. When we’re giving gifts to people outside of the home, it is expensive to go with reusable cloth bags, so I was excited to see that Mission Thrift has a wrapping paper section.

My Experience

This year I purchased a second hand roll of candy cane wrapping paper. I was so happy with how this went that I went back for another roll of paper. When I got home and opened my second roll, I found that it was only about a foot wide. I went back to the store and they allowed me to take another roll free of charge. Overall, I am very happy with my experience purchasing half finished rolls of wrapping paper.

Paper Tape

My next step is to transition to paper tape. I have seen it used at the Refill Store, but I’ve never purchased it myself. By next Christmas I pledge to make this change!
