Let’s Taco ‘Bout Refill Seasoning

Chick Pea Tacos with Refill Seasoning

I love this swap! We’ve been making these chick pea and black bean tacos for many years now. In the beginning I used single packages of seasoning, and usually needed two. Then I started buying a larger cannister of taco seasoning. The cannister had enough seasoning for about four batches of tacos. This upgrade did save on packaging, but it wasn’t zero waste yet…

On one of my trips to the refill store I asked if they have taco seasoning AND they do! You can also make your own taco seasoning at home, but refill is best for me right now (saves time!).

I used one of my typical mason jars, filled it about 1/3 full, and it cost $2.88. Using refill taco seasoning is zero waste and cost effective. And I’m very happy with flavour, which is key. There’s no reason to hold off on this swap!!

Do make your own tacos? Will you try refill seasoning? Let me know what you think via contact page.
