T-oats Sustainable

This was an easy swap. I was already using a bag of oats to fill a tupperware container, so the transition to bringing my container to the refill store was seamless. I have a set of tupperware containers that I used to fill via bags of baking items, like flour and oats, that I bought at the grocery store. Since I wasn’t storing oats in the bag they come in anyways, bringing the container with me to the refill store was a no-brainer when I finally thought of it!!

I use oats for many things. It’s definitely a daily staple… breakfast, muffins, and peanut butter oat snacks. Now, instead of emptying bags of flour, sugar, and oats into the tupperware, I bring the tupperware to the refill store and eliminate the need for packaging

Do you keep your baking supplies in tupperware? Do you already buy these supplies in bulk? Make this your next swap and let me know how it goes via contact page.

I have a feeling the idea of storing supplies in tupperware type containers comes from the past when people would have been buying/storing in bulk. I’m very happy with this swap!
