Easy Swap: Refill Olive Oil

I’ve been refilling extra virgin olive oil for around six months now. I was clued into this swap while I was at the refill store picking up other groceries. Another customer was purchasing their refill oil and suddenly a new swap presented itself. I love when this happens!

I thought I’d try a small amount in a mason jar to see how it went. I was concerned it would be challenging to use the oil when it’s stored in a mason jar. I was wrong! I find it easy to dispense oil from the jar, and highly recommend this swap. Every so often I pour out more oil than planned, but it doesn’t happen often.
