Chocolate Chips

This has been one of my favourite swaps. I am a big fan of chocolate. I eat it every day! Sometimes I mix chocolate chips with almonds, or eat them plain, or mix them into a mug cake (recipe below).

I rate this swap: EASY. I love that I don’t create waste from chocolate chip packages. To store your refill chocolate chips you can use any reusable container. I store chocolate chips in a glass jar.

Cocoa Powder

I made this swap recently. Due to making mug cakes on a regular basis, I’ve been going through a lot of cocoa powder and finally finished our store-packaged container. I store the cocoa powder in a glass jar. 

Mug Cake Recipe

4 Tablespoons flour

2 Tablespoons sugar

2 Tablespoons cocoa powder

½ teaspoon baking powder

**mix**

2 Tablespoons oil

3 Tablespoons water

2 Tablespoons of chocolate chips (or as many as you want!!)

Bake in microwave for 1 minute

Enjoy! The best part is that all of the ingredients can be purchased from the refill store!
